We know things like custom enamel pins, foil business cards, and holographic stickers can be a big investment. As a small business ourselves, maintaining cash flow while making sure you're able to get the goods and services you need can be, well, a headache!
We're excited to now offer Quadpay, a service that lets you split your payments into 4 different installments. This is available on any custom printing or small business coaching service $35 and over.
During the checkout process, click the Quadpay option and you'll be directed to complete the transaction. Easy! We're so excited to be able to offer this service and hope it makes those bigger purchases a little easier!
Something we have wanted to do for a long time is make our social channels more about community and y’all! Product shots (and our hands in them) are super fun, but at the end of the day this business was built on collaborative magic. So we’re starting #TPbehindthebrand on Instagram (and will repost here) to introduce you to our amazing clients and their stories. Read below to meet Chandlyr Jackson of Freckled Fuchsia.
I first started Freckled Fuchsia as an outlet for myself to get back into regularly illustrating again, and getting over the fear of sharing my work publicly via Instagram. I was working as a UX Designer at a small company for a few years and found myself behind a screen all the time. I realized that I needed a hands-on and screen-free creative hobby back in my life.
For months, I got back into my drawing groove and practiced consistently, waking up early to squeeze in drawing time in the morning before work, or staying up late to brainstorm new ideas. The more involved my re-discovered hobby had become, the more seriously I took my work by trying out my first artists’ market, and opening up an online shop for my art prints about 8 months ago. Around that time, I decided to take the leap to pursue Freckled Fuchsia full-time because I truly believed in it’s potential. The more confident I felt in myself, the more I realized how much I wanted to develop my own brand, maintain control over who I work with, and have power over how my brand will evolve over time. I’m very self-motivated and thrive independently, so it just felt like the right move.
Since then, I’ve grown my skill set by incorporating more block-printing and textile work because I personally see the value in maintaining a healthy balance of hand craft as well as digital design work for myself. I discovered Tower Press through Native Bear last summer, and was excited to learn that they were also a new company that had only launched a few months prior to when I found them. I used them to order my first batch of 5 art prints (woo!), and have been using their print services for my art ever since. I absolutely love that the card stock is 100% recycled, and I’m obsessed with the texture. I love supporting Tower Press because they work incredibly hard, they’re transparent and I’m always looking to grow my network of companies that share the same environmental and social values as I do.

In late February of 2018 I left my job of nearly 7 years. I had a routine, knew what to expect every single day, it was easy. I could do it with my eyes closed. But that was the problem. I wasn't being challenged. I was bored. On top of that, I wasn't appreciated and I wasn't being paid fairly. It took a long time, but I was finally able to see that I have value, and if I'm not being valued where I am, I will go somewhere else. So, with very little planning and very little money, I decided to start Tower Press. I didn't do it alone though.
Leela of Native Bear was imperative to those first few months, agreeing to help front a website template and first month's rent at our current location in Georgia. Her initial investment allowed me to take a big leap of faith. I am not kidding when I say I had NO backup plan. I probably only had a few hundred dollars in my bank account. But, I trusted myself and I trusted in my abilities. Going from knowing what to expect all the time to NEVER knowing what to expect any of the time was very, very scary for this Type-A individual.
But, here we are! We did it! We crossed the threshold to the one-year mark, and that's huge! And I didn't do that alone either. That is all Y'ALL! 327 clients spread across 4 different countries. I am grateful for each and every one of you who choose to work with us. Tower Press has really turned into a wonderful community of badass go-getters that I am inspired by every day. We've definitely had to change a little and adapt along the way, but I love this baby business, our commitment to putting the client first, and always offering the most creative services we can.
I don't always have "it" together. Nearly every day I am learning something new about being a businesswoman and better human. There are days I have big cries at my desk and days where I feel like we're on top of the world. I'm thankful for every teaching moment this business has given me, and can't wait for the next 365+ days. I have a lot of BIG goals for us, see you along the way!
PS: Enjoy 15% off all orders placed online with the code BIRTHDAY. You can do this while listening to our Tower Press Birthday Jams playlist!
We're no strangers to DIY. Even as a company that specializes in custom printing, sometimes you just have to find a more cost-effective way to do things. When we first launched we REALLY wanted to have beautiful, branded boxes. Turns out, those cost a fortune and we knew other small businesses probably ran into the same issue. Hence, the custom rubber stamp was born!
Our custom stamps are a perfect way to brand your boxes, stationary, and bags without breaking the bank. They are made with sturdy, wooden handles crafted from native North American hard woods (to spare the rainforests), and come in a variety of custom sizes.
